Born on September 19, 1979 in Ankara, he became interested in piano at the age of 5. In 1996, Kıvaner started his music career with viola at Anatolian Fine Arts High School and focused more on piano. After completing his high school education, he was awarded a full scholarship to Istanbul Bilgi University Music Department. He graduated from the Jazz Piano Performance department in 2003 and continued his career in Poland. 10th Istanbul Jazz Festival (young Fest), Kaş Jazz Festival, Alanya Jazz Festival, Krakow Jazz Festival, Warsaw Old Town Jazz Festival ‘Jazz na Starowce’, Olsztyn Olsztynskie Jazz Forum Festival, Koleczkowo k. Gdyni Jazz na Polanie ‘Festival’, Warsaw Jazz Club Tygmont, Radio Krakow, Suleczyno Jazz w lesie, Piwnicy pod Baranami, Krakow Jazz Club U Muniaka, Szczawnica Owczarnia Muzyczna, Pszczyna Muzeum Zamkowe, Warszawa Boathouse, Sopot Hotel Chinski, InterContinental Hotel Warsaw, La Cantina. In the following years, he traveled to America and gave many concerts there as well. Throughout his career, he had the opportunity to work with many local and foreign musicians. He played with Wallace Roney Quintet at Istanbul Jazz Center in 2008 and with Marlene Mortensen in 2010. At the 2011 Akbank Jazz Festival, he took the stage with Ozan Musluoğlu Quartet. Her debut album, Pieces, was released in March 2012 with Rec By Saatchi label.
