Pelin Güneş

She was born in Kazakhstan. There she studied piano and violin at an early age and also appeared on stage with jazz choirs. She settled in Turkey at 2009. She graduated from Bahçeşehir University Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department in 2018. In 2017, she participated in the Nardis Young Jazz Vocal Competition and won. She participated in the Young Jazz auditions in 2018 and was entitled to perform at the “Jazz in the Parks” events held within the scope of the 25th Istanbul Jazz Festival. Pelin Güneş, who studied at Sibel Köse Jazz Vocal Workshop, also took harmony training with Güç Başar Gülle. Pelin Güneş, who composes her own compositions, has been performing professionally in many parts of Turkey since 2018. The vocalist, who sings jazz standards, includes standards of composers such as Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Horace Silver and soul, R&B, bossa and funk styles in her repertoire.
