Ömer Ardos

Born in Istanbul, Ömer Ardos is a student at Istanbul University State Conservatory, Jazz Department. He became interested in music during his high school years and studied drums with Berke Özgümüş during the same period. At school, he took ensemble classes from Bulut Gülen, Batu Şallıel, and Kağan Yıldız. Roy Haynes, Tony Williams and Jeff Hamilton are among the names that shape his music life. In addition to his education, Ömer Ardos continues his musical life by performing in his own projects and with the bands he is involved in.
