İsmail Aşkın

İsmail Aşkın was born in Balıkesir in 1993. He started his music life at the age of 14 at the Turkish Armed Forces Band Non-Commissioned Officer Preparation School. He graduated in 2013. He took part in many orchestras of the Turkish Armed Forces. Apart from these, he gave both solo and ensemble concerts at KMK Sanat and performed activities based around a jazz repertoire accessible to a wide audience. Aşkın believes in the great value of musical research. He is currently working on his Master’s Degree at Istanbul University State Conservatory Musicology Department and continues his instrumental studies with Çağdaş Oruç.
