Say was born in İzmir, started his music career by a classical guitar at a young age. During his high school years, he became interested in the electric bass and focused on music. After being accepted to the Vienna State Conservatory in 1999, he switched to the double bass instrument. The musician has been actively involved in the jazz scene since the 2000s, he took part in the album works of Burçin Büke, Tanini, Cenk Erdoğan, Bilal Karaman, Yavuz Akyazıcı, Şirin Soysal and Başak Yavuz. He gave concert with Will Brahm Trio.He took part in many different festivals and projects.
