Pianist, composer, arranger and vocalist Ayşe Tütüncü wandered a lot playing and attended international festivals like North Sea Jazz, Traumzeit, Syrian Jazz and also İstanbul Jazz, Akbank Jazz festivals. Her music with a strong component like improvisation, is a special blend of western classical music, jazz and a variety of traditions from the basin surrounding İstanbul / Anatolia, taking place on jazz scene. Her albums are Çeşitlemeler (“Variations”), Panayır (“Carnivalesque”)-EMI-Blue Note and Yedi Yer, Yedi Gök (“Seven Places, Seven Skies”)-EMI-Blue Note. Examples of her concerts, workshops (Ritim Oyunları/ “Rythm Games”) and theater + documentary (Oğlunuz Erdal) + silent cinema musics (“3.International İstanbul Silent Cinema Days / 2016”) are on her Youtube channel.

The group’s repertoire includes mainly Ayşe Tütüncü’s compositions like Letter to Crete, Story of Something, Chocolate-Colored Song and Tango Blues. Having both piano and electric guitar in its soundscape, the group will also play two compositions of the group member Sinan Altıparmak and interprete pieces of some masters like M.Petrucciani, Marcel Khalife and Hindemith as well.
