Esra Gürçay Quartet

Esra Gürçay is a jazz vocalist born in 1998. She worked with Randy Esen, whom she first met in 2010, for many years and still continues to work. Esra, who continued her musical studies while she was at Tufts University, where she went to study International Relations in 2016, performed in places such as Scullers Jazz Club and Jazz at Lincoln Center with her school’s jazz orchestra in the USA. After returning to Istanbul in 2021, she took on the position of Turkey office manager of the technology company where he worked for 3 years in total, while also performing jazz, Latin, funk, soul, rnb, etc. She continued to perform in various musical genres. In 2023, she participated in the Nardis Young Jazz Vocal Competition and received an award, and in the same year, she won the İKSV’s Young Jazz competition, which she participated with her band. In her repertoire, Esra includes classical jazz standards as well as modern standards and compositions written by herself or her bandmates.
