İstanbul Funk Unit feat. Duygu Tarhan

Inspired by the world famous Nils Landgren Funk Unit, Istanbul Funk Unit was formed by Cenk Soyak (CEO of Alotech ) in 2011 with the participation fellow musicians and friends; Yahya Dai (one of the best musicians in Turkey), Kerem Turhan (composer, vocalist and keyboard player), Taylan Cemgil (Proffesor of Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University), Ekin Cengizkan (one of the best drummer in Turkey)  and Evrim Özşuca. The group performs the funk arrangements of masters like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter and Bill Withers, as well as tunes from Turkish folk music.
