Tolga Erzurumlu

Tolga Erzurumlu was born on December 6, 1985 and took his first step in music at the age of 6 with the support of his family. During his high school education, he participated in orchestra competitions many times and achieved degrees. After high school, he took the exam of Eastern Mediterranean University Music Department and entered with the first place. During his education, he won the European Union Scholarship and went to Paris to study music for 1 year. After successfully completing her education here and returning back, she graduated from D.A.Ü Music Department. In 2011, he made a leap in his career and participated in the `Young Jazz Musicians` competition at Akbank Jazz Festival, one of the most spectacular festivals in Istanbul, and was awarded the `Best Improvisation` prize. In 2013, he formed Tolga Erzurumlu Trio to participate in the Young Jazz Competition organized by İKSV. The most prominent features of the Cypriot group are their command of their instruments and the differences in the jazz standards they interpret.
