Cenk Erdoğan

Born in Istanbul in 1979, Cenk Erdoğan studied music composition at Istanbul Bilgi University. In 2008, he released his first album “İLE” and won the Yeşilçam “Soundtrack of 2009” award for the music he composed for Çağan Irmak’s movie “Issız Adam”.
He performed with Cenk Erdoğan Trio at Istanbul and Akbank Jazz Festivals in 2009. He also recorded the album “Çark” and performed at various festivals. In 2010, he worked with names like Trilok Gurtu and Dominique di Piazza in the band “Turkophony all stars” and in 2011 with Dave Weckl and other well-known musicians.
In 2014, he launched www.fretlessguitarlessons.com and released his solo album “Kara Kutu”. In 2015, he composed ringtones for the “VENÜS” smartphone in Vestel’s competition. In 2016, he took part in the “Rachmaninov Anatolian Project” album and worked with Sezen Aksu in the “Sezenli Yıllar” project.
In 2017, he presented the project “Lahza” with Mehmet İkiz, and in 2018 he released his solo album “Fermata”. In 2019, he went on tour with the International Guitar Night project and released his album “Arıyorum Hala” in 2021. Jim Kimo won a Grammy Award for his contribution to West’s album “More Guitar Stories”.
In 2023, he continues his musical journey with the album “Ara” with baritone fretless guitar.
