Bulut Gulen was born on July 16th, 1980 in Eskisehir (Turkey). He began his musical education at the age of 10, in a children’s choir. Soon after, he started taking piano and trombone lessons. In 1994, he was accepted in Ankara Conservatory, having has his principal instrument the trombone. He took private lessons with Bedii Durham and Aycan Teztel. In the year of 2003 he was accepted in Istanbul Conservatory, institution from which he graduated a year later. He was the trombone player for many classical orchestras in Turkey, and won numerous awards for his performance with the Istanbul Trombone Ensemble and the Ankara Trombone Trio.In2005, he toured with a very famous Turkish band”Athena” in Germany.And also played in International Istanbul Jazz Festival with Istanbul Superband featuring Dianna Rieves.In 2006,he played in International Akbank Jazz Festival and Alanya Jazz Festival,also in Istanbul he played and recorded with various bands and artists. 
In summer 2007, he was accepted to Berklee College of Music, wining the World Tour Scholarship. Soon after he developed his compositional skills, and perfection his performance talent. In January 2008, he won the Albert Natale Award, a recognition given for his outstanding performances. That summer, he played along with the Grammy Award winner McCoy Tyner, for the Berklee Jazz Orchestra at the prestigious Montreal Jazz Festival. He played as well with the Berklee Jazz Revelation Records Allstar at the Boston Symphony Hall. He is also played with Benny Golson and Steve Smith – members of the Berklee Concert Jazz , and he is also played with Jack Dejohannette members of the David Fiuczynski smallband.At Present, Bulut continues his studies on Contemporary Writing and Production and Profesional Music major,at Berklee College of Music with a full scholarship..His first arrangment and compose to the Turkish pop music Diva,Sezen Aksu was performed in Istanbul Symphony Orchestra in November 2009.
Nowadays, he is working with Phill Wilson, Jeff Galindo, Hal Crook, Joe Lovano, Dave Santoro, Ed Tomassi and Gregory Hopkins on his performance. On the other hand Ken Pullig, Scott Free, Jackson Schultz and Phill Wilson are helping and encouraging him on with his compositional skills. He also continues to work with local Bigbands and produces his own band, Bulut Gulen Group.

25 yıldır akustik ve elektrik gitar çalıyor.
İstanbul’da doğdu, 15 yaşında klasik gitarla tanıştı, daha sonra rock ve jazz gitarla devam etti.
16 yaşında lise müzik grubu ile çalmaya başladı ve Milliyet Gazetesi’nin düzenlediği Liseler Arası Müzik Yarışması’nda Al Di Meola’nın bir parçası ile Türkiye Birincilik Ödülü’nü kazandılar.
19 yaşında, müzikal yeteneğini geliştirmek için İngiltere’ye gitti.
Müzik yolculuğu Almanya ve Fransa’da devam etti.
Yurtdışında geçirdiği uzun yıllar boyunca jazz, bebop, big band, latin jazz, duo guitar gypsy jazz, rock, blues, funk, soul, new age gibi çeşitli müzik türleri ve gruplarıyla çalıştı.
Aynı zamanda bir besteci olan Erhan Ersin, müzikleri kendisine ait “Seslerin Peşinde” isimli bir duo akustik gitar albümü yaptı, yapımcısı Sky Music & Aliso Records.
Şu anda kendi müzik projeleriyle uğraşıyor ve çeşitli ülkelerde akustik gitar duo ve farklı grup projeleri ile konserler veriyor.
Programda Arjantin’li gitarist Ricardo Moyano, Türkiye’nin önde gelen davulcularından Turgut Alpbekoğlu ve bas gitarda başarılı yeni nesil müzisyenlerden Ahmet Türkmenoğlu ile ile birlikte albüm parçaları, standartlar ve arjantin müziğinden örnekler seslendirecekler.

Born in Istanbul, begin with fifteen by learning and playing classical guitar, rock, jazz…
With sixteen began to play with high school band and won the “Best Perfroming Band of Turkey” award with a song from Al Di Meola in a national music competition.
With nineteen went to England to improve his musical talent.
Lived in England, France, Germany by playing with different bands and styles like jazz, bebop, big band, latin, duo gypsy jazz, rock, blues, funk, soul, new age…
He also composes music and has a duo acoustic guitar album with own compositions called “Chasing The Voices” released by Sky Music & Aliso Records.
Now working on own music projects and performing in different countries with Acoustic Guitar Duo and various Bands.
Tonight they will be playing album songs, standarts and Argentine guitar music with Argentinian guitarist Ricardo Moyano, one of the best known drummer in Turkey Turgut Alpbekoğlu and new generation bass player Ahmet Türkmenoğlu.

Deniz Dündar who was born in Istanbul became acquainted with music at a very early age and got involved with jazz in 1978. The drummer who currently plays with numerous bands senses the drums as a melodic instrument. He also believes in the inescapable necessity of communicating with fellow members of bands, be they small or large. Tonights repertoire will consist of a collection of spirited standards.

Meltem Ege was born is Syracuse, NY. She started her musical education with the piano at the age of seven. She returned to Turkey with her parents in 1991 and eventually graduated from the Bilkent University Music and Performing Arts Piano Division. She took up singing during her university studies and experimented with rock, funk, R&B, jazz and other styles. She particapated in “Dom Chemika” summer school in Poland in 2006. She took part in the Nardis Jazz Club Young Singers Competition in 2007 and won a place representing “Nardis” and “Turkey” at the 12th Finland “Lady Summertime” Jazz singing competition where she won the 1st prize as well as the “most popolar singer” title by popular vote. She then went on to win the 1st prize at the Lithuanian “Jazz Voices 2008” competition. In 2007 she won an acceptance to the Berklee College of Music, Jazz Vocal Performance department and then won Berklee’s talent scholarship. Meltem Ege completed the course in an extraordinary 3 year period during which she had the opportunity to study with many notable performers including Rhinannon, Joey Blake, Bob Stoldoff, Lisa Thorson, Steve. She also won many awards such as Voice Department Achievement Award, representing Berklee as Student Ambassador in Canada and Peer Advisor. One of her compositions won her the 2nd prize at the “Songs for Social Change” competition in 2009. She graduated from Berklee with top honours (Summa Cum Laude) in 2010. Her repertoire tonight will consist of selected pieces from the jazz standards and some arrangements guitarist and composer Önder Focan.

Born from a Columbian dancer mother and a Cuban musician father, Luis Ernesto Gomez grew up in Paris. His father is one of the pioneers of salsa and Cuban music in France. Luis studied with Changuito and Tata Guines. Since 1986, he has been playing tumba in countless salsa and latin jazz bands. His stage career started at the age of 16, accompanying Mayra Valdes Irakere. He started performing with the band of Rembert Egues, the Cuban musician, at “Les Trois Mailletz” Jazz Club in Paris. He accompanied many famous musicians with his tumba at this venue where he became art director. (1989-2005). In 1998, Luis and his wife, Gülseren Yıldırım Gomez, famous singer, percussionist (darbuka) and dancer (who was to be the Turkish participant in the 2005 Eurovision song contest), encouraged by their interest in world music and cultural exchange intruduced the first Salsa Turca group in Paris. Since 2005, Gülseren and Luis has been singing and playing with her own band LA DESCARGA in Turkey and different countries. The couple already produced and sang for 11 CD albums. This year Gülseren and Luis formed in İstanbul their own and unique salsa big band : “Luis Ernesto Gomez – Gülseren & LA DESCARGA”. Performance not to be missed…

Tamer Temel (b. İstanbul, 1975) spent his childhood in İzmir. He gave concerts in Turkey and Italy as well as recording albums. He was awarded a scholarship by the 2005 European Jazz Festival to study at the Italian Siena Masterclass Summer Course during which he found the opportunity to work with prominent Italian musicians. He played at the 2005 Valdarno Jazz Festival with the Bruno Tomasso Band. In his concerts with the “Equinox” band in Eskişehir and İzmir in 2006 he performed his own copmositions as well as standards and modern jazz pieces. In the same year he performed at the 12th European Jazz Festival as a member of the Open Jazz Orchestra with Claudio Fasoli and Antonio Zambrini and also gave a concert at the Kadiköy Jazz Days event. He continued to give concerts in İzmir and İstanbul throughout 2007 and 2008. He played at the Ankara Jazz festival in 2008. Tonight’s performance will consist of tunes from his recent album “Barcelona” as well as standards.

Tuluğ Tırpan; Ali Perret ile piyano eğitimine başladı. Bilkent Üniversitesi’nde Martin Berkowsky ve Namık Sultanov’la çalıştı. 1992-1996 yılları arasında Viyana Devlet Konservatuvarı’na ve Viyana Müzik Akademisine devam etti. Daha sonra Charles Mingus Festivali (Viyana), Yehudi Menuhin Live Music (Viyana), Jeunesse Bach 2000 (Viyana), Miles Davis Jazz Festivali (Polonya), Cemal Reşit Rey Piyano Festivali gibi festivallerde çaldı. Mozart’ın “Figaro’nun Düğünü” operasının caz yorumu ile uluslararası platformda dikkatleri üzerine çekti. Tüm bunlara ek olarak kısa süre önce bestelediği ‘Hearts’ müzikalinin Musical Cocktail dergisi tarafından, son zamanlarda Almanca konuşulan ülkelerde bestelenmiş en iyi müzik olarak değerlendirildi.
Alper Yılmaz; Besteci, düzenlemeci ve basçı Alper Yılmaz’ın çok katmanlı besteleri onun ABD’den Türkiye’ye, birbirinden uzak coğrafyalara uzanan müzikal ve zihinsel yolculuklarının çatışmalarını ve kimi zaman gerginliklerini yansıtıyor. Over The Clouds adlı albümünü piyasaya yeni çıkaran Alper Yılmaz 2000 yılında geldiği New York’ta John Patitucci’nin atölyelerine katılıp Matthew Garrison’ile caz teorisi çalıştı, Adam Rogers ve David Binney’den özel dersler aldı, Antonio Hart ile doğaçlama, Michael Mossman ile beste ve düzenleme üstüne eğitimlerine devam ederken caz sahnesinin en çok ümit veren müzisyenlerinden birine dönüştü.
Ediz Hafızoğlu; Mimar Sinan Üniversitesi Endüstri Ürünleri Tasarımı Bölümü’nde 3 yıl okudu. Öğrenimine devam ederken çeşitli gruplarla profesyonel olarak çalmaya başladı. 2003 yılında İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi Caz Performans bölümü’nü kazandı. Burada Ricky Ford, Cengiz Baysal, Donovan Mixon, Can Kozlu, Selen Gülün gibi hocalarla çalıştı. Aydın Esen’le özel dersler yaptı. Yıllardır müziğinden ödün vermeyerek caz dünyasında kendine iyi bir yer edinen sanatçı Ricky Ford, Chuck Israils, Dusko Goykovich, Randy Brecker, Garry Dial, Paula West, Hilary Cole, Mike Cooper, George Masterhazy, Oliver Groenewald gibi müzisyenlerle dünyanın çeşitli yerlerinde performans sergilemeye devam ediyor.

Tuluğ Tırpan started his piano studies with Ali Perret. He studied with Martin Berkowsky and Namık Sultanov at Bilgi University. He attended the Vienna State Conservatory between 1992-1996. Among many others, he performed at the Charles Mingus festival (Vienna), Yehudi Menuhin Live Music (Vienna), Jeunesse Bach 2000 (Vienna), Miles Davis Jazz Festival (Poland), Cemal Reşit Rey Piano Festivals. His jazz interpration of Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” gained international critical acclaim. His recent musical composition “Hearts” was described by the Musical Cocktail magazine as “the best composition to come out of German speaking countries in the recent past”.
Alper Yılmaz; The multilayered compositions of composer, arranger and double bass player Alper Yılmaz reflect the conflicts and tensions emanating from his musical and mental journeys to lands as distant as the USA and Turkey. Alper Yılmaz whose album “Over the clouds” has just been released went to New York in 2000, took part in workshops of Matthew Garrison where he studied jazz theory, took private lessons from Adam Rogers and David Binney, studied improvisation with Antonio Hart, composition and arrangement with Michael Mossman and in the pricess turned into a most promising jazz musician.
Ediz Hafızoğlu studied for 3 years at the Mimar Sinan University, Industrial Products Design Depatment. During his studies he started playing professionally with a number of bands. In 2003 he gained acceptance to the Jazz Performance Department of Bilgi University, Istanbul where Ricky Ford, Cengiz Baysal, Donovan Mixon, Can Kozlu and Selen Gülün were among his instructors. He took private lessons form Aydın Esen. He continues to perform worldwide with Ricky Ford, Chuck Israels, Dusko Goykovich, Randy Brecker, Garry Dial, Paula West, Hilary Cole, Mike Cooper, George Masterhazy, Oliver Groenewald and other famous musicians.
