Nezih Yeşilnil, 6 yaşında mandolin, 13 yaşında gitar çalmaya başladı. 17 yaşında İzmir’de Maça Beşi Topluluğu’nda bas gitar çalmaya başladı. Ege Üniversitesi İktisat Fakültesi Ekonomi bölümünden mezun olan Yeşilnil, 1974’te Grup Doğuş’un kurulmasına öncülük etti. 1986’dan bu yana pekçok değerli müzisyenle birlikte yurtiçi ve yurtdışında konserler ve festivallerde sahne aldı. Halen kendi trio’sunun yanısıra caz ve etnik müzik yapan çeşitli gruplarla da müzisyenlik hayatını sürdüren Nezih Yeşilnil, Pera Müzik Okulu’nda, Modern Müzik Akademisinde özel olarak bas dersleri veriyor ve müzik stüdyolarında düzenlemeler yapıyor. Bugece sizlere Gershwin şarkılarından bir seçki sunacaklar.

Nezih Yeşilnil started playing the mandolin at the age of 6 and guitar at 13. He took up the bass guitar with the group Maça Beşi in İzmir at the age of 17. Yeşilnil who is a graduate of Ege University, Faculty of Economics, Economics Division was among the founding members of Group Doğuş in 1974. He performed in numerous concerts and festivals in Turkey and abroad together with many notable musicians since 1986. Presently Nezih Yeşilnil is performing with his own trio as well as with a number of ensembles performing jazz and ethnic music. He gives private double bass tuition at the Pera Music School and Modern Music Academy.
The trio will feature painter and singer Aysegul Yesilnil and perform their interpretation of film scores.
