Bu gece repertuarlarında Emre Kayhan ve Engin Recepoğulları’nın beste ve modern caz standartlarından oluşan bir repertuar sunacak olan grubun kurucularından Emre Kayhan İngiltere`de doğdu. Mimar Sinan Üniversitasi Devlet Konservatuarı trombon bölümü mezunu olan sanatçı Londra Royal College of Music’de lisans eğitimi aldı. 1991-93 yılları arasında İngiltere`de çesitli profesyonel ve amatör senfoni orkestralarında ve big band`lerde çaldı. North Texas State University’de çalıştı. 2000 – 2001’de Trinity College of Music’de tam burs ile caz masterini tamamladı. 1998 de EBU (Avrupa Yayın Birliği) Caz Orkestrasi ile Stockholm Caz Festivali`nde ve 2002 de ise yine aynı orkestra ile Budapeşte`de ikişer konser çaldı. 2005`de İstanbul Caz Festivali`ne Neşet Ruacan Dörtlüsü içinde katıldı ve konuk sanatcı trompetçi Claudio Roditi ile çaldı.

The group will be performing jazz standards and compositions by Emre Kayhan and Engin Recepoğulları. Emre Kayhan who is one of the founding members of the group was born in England. He is a graduate of Mimar Sinan University, State Conservatory trombone division, and has a degree from the Royal College of Music in London. Between 1991-93 he played with various professional and amateur symphony orchestras and big bands in England. He also worked at the North Texas State University. He studied for and completed his jazz masters programme 2000–01 funded by a full scholarship from Trinity College of Music. He performed twice with the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) Jazz Orchestra at the Stockholm Jazz Festival in 1998 and again with the same orchestra in Budapest on two different occasions in 2002. In 2005 he participated in the İstanbul Jazz Festival as part of the Neşet Ruacan Quartet and performed with the guest trumpet player Claudio Roditi.
