İÜ Kimya Mühendisliği bölümü mezunu İpek Dinç 2005 yılında İlham Gencer ile tanışarak müzik yaşamına adım attı. 2006’da Nardis Genç Caz Vokal Yarışmasında finale kaldı, İstanbul Caz Festivali Genç Caz Yarışmasına katıldı. Festival kapsamında konser verdi. Geçen yıl Nardis Genç Caz Vokal Yarışmasında gösterdiği başarı ile gittiği Estonya Nomme Jazz Festivalindeki yarışmada 3. oldu. Pekçok festivalde şarkı söyledi, önümüzdeki günlerde Latviya “Young Jazz Voices” etkinliğine de davet alan başarılı sanatçımız bu gece sevilen caz standartlarının yanısıra latin ve R&B parçalara da yer verecek.

İpek Dinç who is an undergraduate of İstanbul University, Faculty of Chemistry, started her musical career in 2005 when she met İlham Gencer. She was a finalist at the 2006 Nardis Young Jazz Singer of the Year Competition and participated in the İstanbul Jazz Festival Young Jazz Singer competition. She gave a concert in the Festival. Her success at last year’s Nardis Singing Competition took her to the Nomme Jazz Festival Competition in Estonia where she won the 3rd prize. She participated in numerous festivals. Dinç has been invited to attend the “Young jazz Voices” event in Latvia in early April. Her repertoire for this night will consist of R&B as well as Jazz standards.
